The best of Orange is coming to Sydney! For two days only, Sydneysiders will be able to head into Martin Place to sample the best that the Orange region has to offer.

A sparkling marquee covered in fairy lights will be the centrepiece for this year’s Taste Orange @ Sydney festival. This canopy of stars gives visitors a taste of the unique cellar door experience of the Orange wine region, right in the heart of Sydney city.

This year, Orange is celebrating 20 years of being officially recognised as a wine-growing region. Identified by its altitude, Orange is fast securing its place as one of Australia’s premium cool climate regions.

I Ate My Way Through was lucky enough to spend a couple of days in Orange recently, visiting some of the beautiful wineries, sampling a lot of delicious wine, and meeting some of the winemakers who’ll be in Martin Place. It gave us a taste of what to expect at the Orange Wine Festival, and definitely inspired us to start planning a trip!

The Orange Wine Festival runs from 14-30 October. For more information on that, keep an eye out on the blog for our write-up about our time in Orange.

Taste Orange @ Sydney is the perfect opportunity to meet some of Orange’s wonderful winemakers from 17 of the region’s premium and award-winning vineyards. Find out for yourself what makes the Orange region so special.

Entry is free, and guests can purchase food and wine at the event.

As a special offer, pre-purchased wine tasting packs are also available online on the Taste Orange @ Sydney event website. The pack includes 10 wine tasting tickets and a branded wine glass. This is a limited offer, so for those of you who want to jump right into their Orange wine tasting adventure, get in quick.

And finally, don’t forget to hashtag your way through the festival! Use the hashtag #TasteOrangeSydney for the chance to see your snaps on the Taste Orange @ Sydney Instagram page, official website and live on the big screen in Martin Place!
