How to Book I Ate My Way Through Tours & Events

All Sydney-based tours and events can be booked directly on the respective tour/event detail page. Simply select the date, quantity of tickets, enter your full name and the name of any guests as well as an email address (you will be emailed the tickets electronically) and mobile contact number (in case we need to reach you on the day). We accept online payment via credit card or Paypal.

Please notify us of any special dietary requirements immediately upon booking; we always try our best to accommodate all requests.

Groups & Corporate

Frequently Asked Questions

How many people attend each tour or event?

All tours and events have a different attendee capacity. Please check the specific event page for full information. In general, the tours typically have 12 attendees to offer an intimate experience.

Do tours get cancelled during bad weather?

No, we’ve never had to cancel a tour before, but please wear weather appropriate clothing and bring an umbrella if it’s raining. While most areas we navigate around are undercover, there are open spaces in between.

Can my children come on the tour?

If you have a baby or a co-operative little one, feel free to bring them along but please bear in mind that not all tours are pram-friendly. Please let us know if you intend on bringing an infant, at the time of booking. If you would like to bring kids, a surcharge does apply to accommodate the extra food they will be eating. Adult fees applies to children aged 10 and up. Please contact us for more information.

How far will we walk?

All tours and events differ, however, they are all easy walks with no major hills or distances. Remember, these are food tours, so you’ll have the opportunity of sitting down for good periods of time to eat 🙂

How much food will we eat at a tour?

The tours operate as restaurant crawls with 3 – 5 stops, so for most people, there is enough food on a tour that lunch is not necessary after the tour. Please take special note that some tours include both morning tea and lunch so breakfast before the tour may not be necessary (unless it opens your appetite!).

Are the tours wheelchair friendly?

Unfortunately, some places we visit have a few steps and some shopping areas can be very narrow. Please contact us to discuss the tour you are interested in and we’ll see what we can do.

Can I book a private tour?

Pending availability, private tours can be organised for groups of 4 or more. Simply contact us and we can arrange a tour for your group of friends, family or colleagues.
